Graduation Hat Kindergarten Craft

It’s almost that time of year again. graduation! Whether you’re a teacher or a mom of little ones, you can use this craft! Each year for my preschooler or kindergarten graduation, we make graduation hats for the kids to wear. They are really easy.

DIY Preschool graduation caps. 8×8" THICK cardstock/posterboard for top. 4×21" strip for bottom. cut 2 inch sections 1" down along 21" strip. Staple together, fold down tabs. Glue to top. extra. Tie loops together, snip ends to make tassle. wrap another string around top to hold everything together. Tied to brad and inserted into middle of cap.

This paper graduation cap is a clever craft made from folded construction paper. There are many way this little cap can be used, with some imagination. The graduation cap can be used on top of a wrapped gift package for the graduate.

Creating a Graduation Hat Measure 24 to 26 inches (61 to 66 cm) by 6 inches (15 cm) out on poster board. Cut out the rectangle you’ve just drawn. Fold the long edge up over the ruler. Open the fold you made back up to cut slits in the paper. Wrap the strip around itself and glue it together.

You can have a good time on a budget inside the track. If you only want to spend $20 on betting, food and drink, then only bring $20. If you’re thinking $50 or $75 is a little more your speed, plan for that instead. Having cash on hand means you’re less likely to overspend.
